November Musical Theatre Showcase

What would you perform if there were no rules?

Thank you for your interest in If Only, our November musical theatre showcase.

If Only will be a celebration of musical theatre, shaped around the performers we cast. The showcase will include a mixture of solos, duets, small groups and full-company numbers.

We are looking for singers, dancers and performers of all ages and abilities, with an ideal cast of 16–20 performers.

AUDITIONS

Sunday 13th September from 13:00

Please make sure you have prepared an audition song. This can be performed as a solo or duet.

Think of a song from a musical that you have always wanted to sing or perform this is your opportunity to choose something you love!

Ensemble

If you would like to be considered for the ensemble, there will be a song for you to learn together and perform in small groups.

Dance

There will also be a short dance taught on the audition day, which everyone will perform in small groups.

You can audition for both solo and ensemble opportunities.

REHEARSALS

Sunday 11th October | 12pm–5pm

Regular rehearsals will then take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting Tuesday 13th October.

Sunday 1st November | 12pm–5pm

A detailed rehearsal timetable will be provided so everyone knows when they are needed.

COMMITMENT

We have a short rehearsal period, so good attendance and commitment are important. Rehearsal materials will be shared where possible so performers can practice between sessions.

All rehearsal information and updates will be shared through the HCP WhatsApp Community.
